C&L Outdoor Design & Landscapes, Inc. is a Complete Landscape Construction Company based out of Belle Plaine, Minnesota. C&L was founded in 2001 and serves Commercial/Residential clients throughout the Twin Cities Metro/Suburban area. C&L's list of services include: Complete Landscape/Hardscape Design, Installation, Irrigation and Light Excavation Services. Our winter construction services includes: remodeling, basement finishes, pole sheds, decks and concrete work. C&L has the resources and know-how to develop and implement a custom project for your home or business needs.

C&L is a close knit company with 5 to 10 employees depending on the season. Chad has a hands-on connection to each project we do. Whether the project is large or small C&L takes pride to serve our client's needs in a professional manner. We guarantee all of our work and install with the highest quality standards.

Mission Statement:

C&L Outdoor Design & Landscapes is a full-service, landscape contracting company based on character, value, integrity, and quality workmanship; working to exceed our customer’s expectations.

Chad Sparks, owner of C&L Outdoor Design & Landscapes has been in the Landscape industry for 15 years. Chad is a great leader for the company and he brings his wealth of knowledge to C&L. He agrees that quality and value is a #1 priority. Chad lives in Belle Plaine, MN. At C&L Outdoor Design & Landscapes, Chad works closely with clients, bids, orders, manages crews and does installations himself.

Insurance & Licenses:
C&L Outdoor Design & Landscapes, Inc. is a licensed landscape, irrigation and low voltage contracting company. C&L carries all necessary Insurances: general liability, property damage, workers comp & auto. C&L holds a Residential Building Contractor License which allows us to install decks, footings and other structural services. C&L has a Nursery Stock Dealer Certificate and is a certified paver contractor through the International Concrete Paver Institute (ICPI). C&L is a member of the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA) and attend many of their educational courses. C&L has received an award for Excellence in Landscape Installation from the MNLA.

Service Area:
C&L primarily services the entire extended Southwest Metro area. Our definition of this is: South of 94, West of 35E, North of Elko and East of St. Peter.
Of course there are always exceptions, but this is our general guideline.
The C&L Crew:
We are proud to say that our crew consists of hard working, polite professionals. We arrive in uniform, in clean trucks and keep a clean, organized job site. Our crew is trained in all of the latest techniques and participate in continuing education. The full time crew has over 35 years of combined experience. Our part-time staff attends local universities and are earning Construction Management and Landscape Design degrees.

Our Awards:
A panel of practicing professionals in landscape education, landscape architecture and horticulture judged approximately two hundred entries based upon quality of installation, materials and workmanship. Entries were not judged against each other, but rather against standards of excellence in execution of the installation. The project is located in Danbury, WI and was given a Certificate of Merit in the Hardscapes category.
The Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association is the state's largest green industry trade association with more than 1,500 member businesses including garden centers; landscape contractors and designers; tree and flower growers; irrigation contractors; and lawn, tree, and garden services.

Several members of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) were recently honored for excellence in landscape installation. Among those honored through the Landscape Awards program was Chad Sparks of C&L Outdoor Design & Landscapes, Inc. in Belle Plaine, MN.


C&L - Award Winning Landscapes from a Two-Time MLNA Award Winner!

C&L has won its second MNLA award! In 2007, this Custom Paver Patio with freestanding walls, columns & Steps received a "Certificate of Merit for Hardscape Installation". C&L Outdoor is very proud to be chosen from a competition of hundreds contractors. C&L guarantees that our outstanding attention to detail is applied to each and every job!
